Breaking News!
Aug 17, 2010, 7:38 am
This is your website's News section, where you can quickly and easily add stories that will be of interest to your club members and website visitors.

You can type the stories directly into the News page by first logging in with the administration account you just made and then clicking Create New Article.

Use the tools in the menu bar above when you are in Edit mode to resize the font, or to select a different typeface. All the other tools you would expect are here too, so you can make text bold, underline passages, insert coloured fonts and align text left, right or centered.

The News section on mySportSite websites automatically shows the latest story on the top, ensuring your readers always catch the breaking news. Using the Edit mode on the Home Page, you can control how many stories appear at a time [up to 3] and also choose between showing the full story, or a shortened version with a 'Click here to read more' arrow.

You can give permissions to add News stories to as many coaches, managers or club officers in the club as you want - this makes sure there is always something new for visitors to read. You can also go back into to a News item using the 'Edit this post' button, and change the story if necessary.

So, now it's time for you to create your first News item! Click on 'Delete this Post' to remove this introduction, then 'Create New Article' and starting making news!
